Pour yourself something fun—cocktail, mocktail, or tea—and join us for a free, come-as-you-are intro to The Buddha Walks into a Bar, a modern, no-nonsense journey into mindful living. We’ll chat about what it means to bring ancient wisdom into everyday messiness—work stress, weird relationships, existential dread, and all.
This isn't your typical meditation talk. It's relaxed, real, and maybe even a little irreverent. You’ll get a feel for the six-month course detailed below, try a few simple practices, and leave with some insight you can use right away—whether or not you ever meditate again.

What if mindfulness wasn’t something you practiced on a cushion but wove into every part of your life—even in the middle of a busy workday or a night out with friends?
Join us for a six-month exploration of The Buddha Walks into a Bar, a modern guide to applying Buddhist wisdom in the real world. This book came out a dozen years ago but feels more applicable than ever. This interactive course is designed to help you integrate mindfulness, compassion, and authentic presence into your daily routine—without renouncing your everyday joys.
In July we’ll also be doing a collective effort known as the Month of Meditation, where we accumulate a massive amount of time on the cushion all together.

Every Thursday you receive a talk on one of the Four Dignities (Tiger, Lion, Garuda or Dragon) covered in The Buddha Walks into a Bar
Every Monday you can join the totally optional, totally fun live guided meditation session online, hosted by Lodro, Adreanna Limbach and a slew of special guest teachers. Note: they’re recorded for you to watch later if you can’t attend live
Once a month: we gather for a live talk and Q&A with Lodro unpacking how to apply these principles in an on-the-spot way to our work, relationship to money, relationships, friendships, family and more
